Who we are

Our website address is: http://mountaintherapies.co.uk.

We take your privacy seriously. We only ask you to provide information that we need in order to deliver the service or information you have requested.

1. Information We Collect.

a) At this website, your personally identifiable information is collected from you when you use the website to perform certain tasks, such as:

i) If you send email to us with details (such as your name and email address or what therapy you would like) we keep this correspondence while dealing with your enquiries.

iii) When you call us, or arrange for us to call you, we will write a summary of that conversation for our records, in accordance with our professional BABCP standards. This will be in a separate secure system (that is, not on this website).

iv) If you take up therapy with us we will write brief confidential notes in accordance with our professional standards. These will be on a separate secure system (that is, not on this website).

If you fill out self-assessment measures for the purposes of seeing whether therapy is helping we would also keep these on file separately, for the duration of treatment. With your consent, we would keep anonymous information on the effectiveness of treatment across our service to ensure and evaluate the quality of our offer. This would be discussed separately.

v) If we offer subscription options in the future we would collect your name and email address to offer this.

b) In addition, like most sites, we maintain logs of site usage for purposes such as to evaluate our users’ interest level in areas of the website, which and how many pages they look at, how long they stay on the website, and what Web browsers are used. This data is tracked in aggregate form, not at an individual user level, and is not uniquely identifying. The aggregate level data may be shared with third parties and the public.

c) Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

2. Limitations. Though we make every effort to preserve your privacy, we cannot guarantee your privacy. Further, we may disclose personal information when required by law or where we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on us. We may also disclose personal information in cooperation with a law enforcement request.

3. Data Access and Erasure.  You may request copies of your personal information or request that your personal information be deleted. Data deletion requests are subject to certain exceptions: for example, if your data is necessary to comply with legal obligations. To exercise your rights, please send a request via email to mountaintherapies@outlook.com that (1) provides sufficient information to allow us to verify that you are the individual or represent the individual about whom we have collected Personal Data, and (2) gives us sufficient information to understand and respond to it. We will work to respond within the mandated time frame.

4. Amendment. We reserve the right to change this policy in accordance with the amendment policy in the website’s Terms of Use.
